General Karl Horst, Chief of Staff – CENTCOM will serve as our official starter and make a few welcoming remarks to the golfers prior to them beginning play.
Format: Four Player Scramble.
Prizes Awarded for: Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive and Putting Contest.
Trophies for: 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Worst Score will be awarded (at the Awards Dinner)
Hole-in-One prize on a Par 3!
Schedule
10:00 AM Registration and Breakfast snacks – Warm up on the practice range
11:30 AM Opening Ceremonies, National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance
12:00 PM HOWITZER BOOM START!
5:00 PM Awards, Speeches, Prizes, Raffle, Silent Auction, and Dinner
Important Information
Eligibility: Open to all – One Veteran / Active Military must be on each team! Open to professional athletes, media, volunteers and supporters.
Entry fee: Turner Consulting Services has covered some costs and we have been able to reduce the fees to play! Foursome is now $525.00 Single player $175.00!
Entry fee includes: Green Fees & Cart • Range Balls • Goodie Bag • Catered Awards Dinner • Foursome Photo • Two (2) Beverage Tickets
Proceeds to benefit: The United Veterans Assistance Services and R&R (Restoration and Renovation) Program. United Veterans Assistance Services, Inc. is a non-profit organization
On the day of the tournament: Spikeless shoes & traditional golfing attire. Please use Bayshore gate to MacDill AFB, you must have photo ID or drivers license and vehicle registration.
